Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Fortanixor uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, the categories we use, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Last updated: September 6, 2026
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to function and to keep it secure, including session integrity and fraud prevention. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics: help us understand aggregate usage and improve performance. These are optional.
- Session replay: records how a page was used — clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and the content displayed — so we can see where the site is confusing or broken. This is about your individual visit rather than an aggregate total, and it is optional.
- Business analytics: identifies the organisation a visit appears to come from, so we know which companies are interested in us. It does not identify you personally, and it runs whether or not you accept the optional categories above.
- Preferences: remember choices such as theme or region so the experience is consistent.
The providers we use
- Google Analytics 4 (Google) — page views and aggregate usage. Optional: it is switched off until you accept where we ask for consent, and a decline is honoured everywhere.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) — session replay and heatmaps, as described above. Optional, on the same choice as Google Analytics: decline and it is never loaded at all.
- Apollo (Apollo.io) — company-level visitor identification. This one is always on and is not covered by the banner choice.
- Google Tag Manager (Google) — the container that loads the tags above. It sets no cookies of its own.
Each provider handles the data it collects under its own privacy terms. Where we ask for consent, declining means the optional tags are never loaded, not merely that they run quietly.
We keep marketing minimal
As a security company, we take a restrained approach to tracking. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or sell personal data, and we limit third-party tags to what is necessary to run and measure the site. We run no advertising cookies at all. The one tag that is not optional is the company-level identification described above, which tells us which organisations visit us and not who you are.
Managing your choices
You can accept or reject optional cookies through the cookie banner, and you can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
